Wash, Rinse, Repeat

We’re like washing machines
Programmed by numbers
Conditioned by patters
Human technology

Taking a shower every am
Wash, rinse, repeat
“Good morning, how are you today?”
Same shit as yesterday

Time goes so slow
Or hardly moves at all
Then, it spins like a Whirlpool
Never stops for anyone

Waking up daily to grind the same things
Worker bees running around for our queen
Set per cycles to make that sweet honey green

“Hi, how’s your day?”
Is this what we’ll do tomorrow?
Didn’t we do this yesterday?

Temperate people
Some of us hot, some are so cold
And others are pressed, permanently

Our life is our load
