Walk Alone

“If you’re looking for the next big thing, and you’re looking where everyone else is, you’re looking in the wrong place.” – Mark Cuban

“The one who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The one who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been before.” – Albert Einstein

Two Trees

It was such a beautiful tree on the edge of the water. I took & edited this pic yesterday. I loved the B&W effect, but I also loved it in it’s natural color, so I decided to make it both. Today, I searched for a quote on trees, and this one came up… I thought it was perfect as it also captured both sides.

“There are two trees, each yielding its own fruit.  One of them is negative….it grows from lack of self-worth and its fruits are fear, anger, envy, bitterness, sorrow  – and any other negative emotion.  Then there is the tree of positive emotions.  Its nutrients include self-forgiveness and a correct self concept.  Its fruits are love, joy, acceptance, self-esteem, faith, peace…and other uplifting emotions.” – Kathi’s Garden

Rise & Shine with Rainbows

When I was a kid my mother would always wake me up by saying rise & shine. As I was leaving the parking lot this morning, I looked up, and that’s exactly how I felt. #RisingAndShining

Then, as I made my way to work, I caught a double rainbow.

“A still more cogent example of existence as relationship is the production of a rainbow. For a rainbow appears only when there is a certain triangular relationship between three components: the sun, moisture in the atmosphere, and an observer. If all three are present, and if the angular relationship between them is correct, then, and then only, will there be the phenomenon “rainbow.” – Alan Watts
